At the same time, the gate plate sealing surfaces after grooving are welded, and the gate valve seat sealing surfaces are also welded simultaneously, solving the welding problems. Firstly, the differences in welding are overcome, and the welding efficiency and standardization are improved to facilitate the processing of sealing surfaces;
The valve body undergoes precision machining using an indexing method. The machining process is as follows: the valve body is placed in a fixture independently invented by Ruitong Valve. After starting the machining program and completing the machining of the flange surface of the gate valve body, the valve body automatically rotates 90° within the fixture, and the CNC continues to machine the central plane of the gate valve body. After the machining is completed, the valve body rotates another 90° within the fixture, and the automatic machining of the other flange surface of the gate valve body begins. Another CNC machine uses the same method to machine the sealing surface of the valve seat of the gate valve at a 180° angle. Similarly, the gate valve cover is also machined using the same method at a 180° angle. This greatly improves precision, concentricity, and efficiency. The same method is used to finish the precision machining of the sealing surface of the gate valve disc at a 180° angle. One person controls multiple CNC machines simultaneously, efficiently and high-quality completing the machining of the flange surface of the gate valve body, the sealing surface of the valve seat of the gate valve, the sealing surface of the gate valve cover, as well as the packing and the nut end of the valve stem. All processes for the sealing surface of the gate valve disc are completed, and the inclination dimensions and precision of all valve seat sealing surfaces are completely consistent. The inclination precision of the disc sealing surface is also completely consistent, achieving full compatibility for gate valves ranging from 2 inches to 8 inches in the American Standard series. Production efficiency has increased by 3 times, and the one-time pass rate for water seal testing of gate valves is 99%. At this point, the production efficiency and pass rate of American Standard gate valves at Zhejiang Ruitong Valve Co., Ltd. have reached a perfect level, and large orders can also be quickly completed in batches.
